Come celebrate the release of  The Southern Harvest Cookbook with a Launch Party at West End Bakery, January 10th 7-9pm. Fifty percent of my proceeds from this book go to nonprofits working on sustainable agriculture and food justice initiatives.

Ongoing support from our community makes our work possible. The 1st Annual Feasting for FEAST was held in 2011 in partnership with the Asheville Affiliates. This annual fundraising event has raised over $69,000 for our organization and allowed us to expand our program to serve 1500 children annually. 

Sunny Point Café in West Asheville will be hosting a party and I will be providing the feast to go along with a donated pig from Riverbend Malt House. The proceeds go to FEAST.

Celebration of Champions is ACSF’s signature annual event to raise funds for cornerstone programs including: professional development opportunities for teachers, IRL (In Real Life) after-school program, TAPAS (Teaching Artists Presenting in Asheville Schools), and the Equity Fund.

Prepare to celebrate the peak of Spring and kick off the growing season at Vance! We are extending the hours of the plant sale this year: from 8am- 7pm. Plan on getting your plants to start your garden from us! We will have annual veggie and herb starts grown by Vance students, annuals and perennials from First Step Farm, and assorted perennials donated by our community of gardeners.

In a musician & artist household that walks, gardens, and participates daily in our community, we feel strongly that the campaign to Be 'Bout it Being Better should not purchase new, plastic signage to display in our neighborhoods.
