This is Asheville's VERY FIRST Urban Agriculture week, with soooo many opportunities to plug in and support this important work! Current calendar: 
SEPT 13: Feasting for FEAST. An incredible night of food, drinks, and raffles that benefits school gardens and healthy cooking programs. 

SEPT 14: UNCA's Annual Farm to Table Dinner on the Quad, focusing on the theme of migration this year. 

SEPT 16: 
Burton St. Agriculture Fair, honoring the important agricultural and community legacy of EW Pearson. 

Asheville Community Garden Tour and Celebration: A fundraiser tour and dinner to support the Asheville Buncombe Community Garden Network and participating gardens. 

SEPT 23: Greenworks 5th Annual Root Ball, features live music, food, drinks and dancing at the City of Asheville's new Arts & Culture Center at 14 Riverside Drive. Proceeds will support GreenWorks programs, including the Food Tree Project -- bringing community orchards to a neighborhood near you.
